ginuerzh 0954e57dcb fix(redirect/tcp): forward protocols the sniffer does not handle
Since 3.3.0 a transparent red service with sniffing enabled closed every
connection whose protocol Sniff does not classify as HTTP or TLS. SSH,
Redis, and any raw TCP — plus server-speaks-first protocols such as SMTP,
where Sniff returns "" after sniffing.timeout — took no matching branch
of the switch on proto, so sniffErr stayed nil and the handler returned
nil, closing the connection via the deferred conn.Close(). No dial was
attempted, so the upstream node never saw the connection, and nothing was
logged above info.

This traces to c23a2f1, which introduced the error-returning switch in
order to replay sniffed bytes for the empty-SNI case (#891). Before it,
the switch had no error variable and simply fell out into raw
forwarding, so every unclassified protocol was proxied as-is.

sniffing.fallback is not a usable workaround: it also changes dial() so
that a failure to reach the sniffed host re-dials the original IP, where
domain-based hop/node bypass rules no longer match. That can route a
domain through a node its bypass excludes.

Mark the two handled protocols explicitly and let everything else fall
through to raw forwarding unconditionally, restoring the 3.2.x
behaviour. sniffing.fallback keeps its intended meaning: it governs only
what happens after HTTP/TLS handling itself fails (#891).

Closes #913

Leonov Vladislav 1c42c638a6 recorder: emit periodic session snapshots and byte deltas
Handlers write one recorder entry when a session ends, so long-lived
SOCKS5 tunnels, streaming HTTP responses and UDP associations stay
invisible while they run and report their traffic as one late record.

With recorder.period set, a session now emits interim records on the
interval while it is active and one final record when it ends. Each
record carries the cumulative counters alongside the increments since the
previous one, so a consumer sums records instead of replacing them, plus
sessionID, recordIndex and phase. A session that ends inside one period
still writes a single record, as it does today.

One goroutine per handler samples every live session on the tick and
writes its record straight to the recorder. There is no queue and no
retry loop, and none is needed: a session moves its cursor past a record
only once the recorder has taken it, so a refused write costs no bytes.
They stay in the delta and go out with the next record. Holding on to
what the sink cannot take right now is the sink's job.

Interim and Finish take a context and return an error, so a handler
learns what became of every record it asked for. Start writes nothing, so
it takes neither. Close stops the sampling and reports the sessions its
owner had not finished; nothing is buffered, so there is nothing to
drain.

With recorder.period unset or non-positive the previous behaviour is
kept: one record per session, written inline, in the old shape. An object
its handler never stamped, and one whose record mode is off, is dropped
in both modes.

ginuerzh 66960e7dd6 fix(redirect): skip pre-sniffing IP bypass check in whitelist mode
Domain-only whitelist bypass never matched the bare destination IP, so the
pre-sniffing bypass check (fe394a8) rejected connections before SNI sniffing
could match the sniffed host (gost#899).

- skip the pre-sniffing check when bypass IsWhitelist(); the sniffer applies
the whitelist against the sniffed host
- restore the post-sniffing bypass check on dstAddr (removed by fe394a8) so
whitelist mode still rejects non-matching hosts on the sniffingFallback
path and when sniffing is disabled
- bypassGroup.IsWhitelist() now reports true only for all-whitelist groups
instead of always false (sole external consumer is the redirect handler)
- rewrite handler tests to drive a real TLS ClientHello through Init()'d
metadata: whitelisted SNI is forwarded, non-whitelisted SNI gets ErrBypass

ginuerzh edb0b5d651 x: extract shared QUIC sniffing helpers, add redirect UDP QUIC sniff
Extract PopulateQUICClientHello/PopulateQUICServerHello into
internal/util/sniffing/quic.go to deduplicate the QUIC ClientHello/ServerHello
population logic that was copy-pasted across forward/local (Handle, handleRawDatagram)
and redirect/udp handlers (3 sites → 2 helpers).

- handler/redirect/udp: add QUIC ClientHello + ServerHello sniff with
sniffing/sniffing.timeout metadata, populating ro.Proto/ro.TLS for recording.
- handler/forward/local: replace inline QUIC blocks with shared helpers;
use h.md.bufferSize instead of hardcoded 8192 for sniff reads.
- internal/util/sniffing: add ProtoQUIC constant.

Bump quic-dissector dependency to v0.1.0.

ginuerzh c23a2f1e53 fix(redirect/tcp): sniffingFallback with empty SNI falls through to raw forwarding
When sniffing detects TLS but the ClientHello has no SNI, HandleTLS
errors with 'tls: sni is empty, closing connection'. Previously this
error was returned unconditionally even with sniffingFallback enabled.

Now, bytes consumed by the sniffer are captured via io.TeeReader and
replayed through io.MultiReader when sniffingFallback is true, allowing
the connection to fall through to raw forwarding to the original dstAddr.

ginuerzh 486a77665d fix: prevent double-recording when HTTP response cache is enabled
The cache-hit path (serveCachedResponse) recorded on the same HandlerRecorderObject
as the calling handler's deferred Record(), producing two records per request.
Copy ro at HandleHTTP entry so the sniffer's internal recording stays isolated
from the caller's defer. Also zero ro.Time when the sniffer takes over, so the
handler's defer Record() skips the now-redundant connection-level record.

Fixes 10 files across sniffer and all 8 handlers that support sniffed HTTP forwarding.

Denis Galeev b8f7c71910 feat(redirect): add sniffing.dialOriginalDst flag
When sniffing is enabled, the redirect handler dials the sniffed hostname (HTTP Host / TLS SNI). Add an opt-in metadata flag sniffing.dialOriginalDst that dials the original transparent-redirect destination address instead, while sniffing still runs for hostname-bypass matching and recording.

Denis Galeev fe394a8420 fix(redirect): check bypass on dstAddr before sniffing
IP/CIDR bypass rules were silently ignored when sniffing was enabled because the sniffer's internal bypass only matches sniffed hostnames. The post-sniffing dstAddr check was unreachable since HandleHTTP/HandleTLS return early.

ginuerzh 34549e0e98 fix(redirect): add IPv6 TPROXY support for TCP redirect listener
Add missing IPV6_TRANSPARENT socket option to the TCP redirect listener
Control callback, matching what the UDP redirect listener already sets.
Without this, the kernel silently drops IPv6 TPROXY-redirected connections.

Also clean up handler_linux.go getOriginalDstAddr:
- Remove encoding/binary import and heap allocation for port conversion
- Replace with zero-allocation ntohs (native-to-network byte order swap)
- Document the struct layout hack where GetsockoptIPv6Mreq and
GetsockoptIPv6MTUInfo are used to read sockaddr_in/sockaddr_in6
from SO_ORIGINAL_DST (kernel returns smaller structs than the
getter functions expect, but only the first N bytes are populated)

ginuerzh 722dde5cfc fix(handler/forward): split readTimeout from pipe idleTimeout to prevent 15s download abort
The readTimeout field (default 15s) was being applied via xnet.Pipe to both
directions of a bidirectional proxy connection. During asymmetric transfers
(e.g. HTTP file download), the direction reading from the tunnel sees no
data after the initial request is forwarded, causing SetReadDeadline to fire
after 15s and abort the entire transfer.

Fix: add a separate idleTimeout field (default 0=disabled) to the metadata
structs in both forward/local and forward/remote handlers, and switch
xnet.Pipe to use idleTimeout instead of readTimeout. The readTimeout field
now only applies to the initial protocol sniffing/handshake phase.

Also document readTimeout vs idleTimeout semantics across all 24 locations
in the x/ module where these timeouts appear:
- readTimeout: handshake sniffing deadline (handlers), upstream response
header timeout (http.Transport), or transport-level read deadline
- idleTimeout: idle read deadline per Pipe direction (0=disabled)
- ReadTimeout on Sniffer/SnifferBuilder: upstream response header/TLS
  handshake read timeout during sniffing
