- Replace ApplyCodexCanonicalIdentity with CodexCanonicalAuthIdentity /
ApplyCodexCanonicalAuthIdentity: the credential face (auth.openai.com
token exchange / refresh / PAT whoami) now sends the originator +
canonical User-Agent pair and no version header, matching codex-rs
default_headers(); the version gate (#3901) only exists on the
/backend-api/codex inference face. whoami keeps its original header
shape (originator + UA) with the canonical UA source.
- Token exchange and refresh send the full pair instead of a bare UA,
eliminating the half-identity (UA without originator) combination no
real client ever emits.
- Codex models manifest: the Version header now follows the client's
own client_version when it is valid and >= the upstream floor (same
source as the query param, restoring the pre-refactor consistency),
falling back to the canonical version otherwise; the query param
keeps its verbatim passthrough contract.
- Drop the now-unreferenced openAICodexProbeVersion constant and its
vacuous consistency assertions; probes resolve their version through
resolveCodexOutboundIdentity at runtime.
Token exchange, PAT whoami, models, probes, and pre-writes now follow
the same UA/version chain as Codex inference instead of hardcoded
codex-cli/0.91.0 or compile-time constants.
Ship Use Key templates that match Grok Build / Codex best practice: env
vars + multi-model config.toml with api_backend=responses, env_key over
hardcoded secrets, and clearer shell/path guidance for Claude/Codex/OpenCode.
Also set free_quota_token_limit default to 500k (24h soft-gate), clean up
personal-dev-only comments, and keep billing test fixtures aligned.
Anthropic OAuth/setup-token accounts now expose a Fable-only 7d window in
429 responses (anthropic-ratelimit-unified-7d_oi-*). Previously, a 429
triggered solely by this window fell through to the legacy path and marked
the whole account rate limited (picking the sooner 5h/7d reset) even though
5h/7d were still "allowed".
Backend:
- HandleUpstreamError: when only 7d_oi is rejected/exceeded, set a
model-level rate limit (scope "claude-fable-5") and skip account-level
SetRateLimited / session-window rewrite / temp-unsched entirely.
Real 5h/7d exhaustion keeps the exact legacy account-level behavior.
- modelRateLimitKeysForRequest: append the Fable family scope for any
mapped Anthropic model containing "fable", so claude-fable-5[1m] and
other variants are excluded from scheduling together.
- Passive sampling: collect 7d_oi utilization/reset into Extra
(passive_usage_7d_oi_*), including from the 429 response itself so the
usage bar doesn't freeze at a stale value during the limit window;
cleared on 5h window reset like the existing 7d keys.
- Usage API: new seven_day_fable window in UsageInfo. GetPassiveUsage
builds it from passive samples; active queries parse the upstream
seven_day_overage_included field (claim name from the
representative-claim header) and fall back to passive data when the
upstream usage API doesn't return it, so the active-query button keeps
the bar populated. seven_day_sonnet handling is preserved unchanged.
Frontend:
- /admin/accounts usage cell renders a "7d F" (amber) progress bar next to
the existing 5h / 7d / 7d S bars for Anthropic OAuth/setup-token accounts.
The refresh button had no effect because two independent gates blocked
the Codex probe:
1. isOpenAICodexSnapshotStale returned false for non-WS-v2 accounts even
when data was stale — this is correct for background auto-refresh (Codex
quota is only auto-tracked for Codex CLI / WS v2 accounts), so this
behavior is preserved.
2. shouldProbeOpenAICodexSnapshot had a 10-min in-memory rate limit with
no bypass for explicit user requests.
Fix: add a force parameter threaded from handler → GetUsage → getOpenAIUsage
→ shouldProbeOpenAICodexSnapshot. When force=true (manual refresh button),
both gates are bypassed and the probe always runs. Background auto-loads
continue to respect the original WS v2 logic and 10-min rate limit.
The hardcoded codex CLI version (0.104.0) causes upstream rejection
when using gpt-5.5 with compact, as the server treats the request
as an outdated client and returns 400/502.
Update codexCLIVersion, codexCLIUserAgent, and openAICodexProbeVersion
to 0.125.0 to match the current Codex CLI release.

Click on a group name, model name, or endpoint name in the distribution
tables to expand and show per-user usage breakdown (requests, tokens,
actual cost, standard cost).
Backend: new GET /admin/dashboard/user-breakdown API with group_id,
model, endpoint, endpoint_type filters.
Frontend: clickable rows with expand/collapse sub-table in all three
distribution charts.
Removes hasMeaningfulWindowStats guard so the /usage endpoint consistently
returns WindowStats for both time windows. The frontend now controls
zero-value display filtering at the component level.
Backend:
- Detect and classify 403 responses into three types:
validation (account needs Google verification),
violation (terms of service / banned),
forbidden (generic 403)
- Extract verification/appeal URLs from 403 response body
(structured JSON parsing with regex fallback)
- Add needs_verify, is_banned, needs_reauth, error_code fields
to UsageInfo (omitempty for zero impact on other platforms)
- Handle 403 in request path: classify and permanently set account error
- Save validation_url in error_message for degraded path recovery
- Enrich usage with account error on both success and degraded paths
- Add singleflight dedup for usage requests with independent context
- Differentiate cache TTL: success/403 → 3min, errors → 1min
- Return degraded UsageInfo instead of HTTP 500 on quota fetch errors
Frontend:
- Display forbidden status badges with color coding (red for banned,
amber for needs verification, gray for generic)
- Show clickable verification/appeal URL links
- Display needs_reauth and degraded error states in usage cell
- Add Antigravity tier label badge next to platform type
Tests:
- Comprehensive unit tests for classifyForbiddenType (7 cases)
- Unit tests for extractValidationURL (8 cases including unicode escapes)
- Integration test for FetchQuota forbidden path
- Fix gofmt: align struct field comments in UsageCache, trim trailing
whitespace on const comments
- Fix errcheck: use comma-ok on type assertion for singleflight result
