Antigravity v1internal rejects googleSearch/codeExecution mixed with
functionDeclarations even with includeServerSideToolInvocations (#6464).
Codex enables web_search by default alongside shell tools, which made
Sub2API return opaque upstream_error. Prefer client function tools so
agent sessions keep working; keep web_search-only fallback intact.
